Changes coming 28th April 2025

We’re launching some updates to our phone queue system on Monday 28th April! Here's what will be changing:

You’ll be able to wait for 45 minutes instead of 30 minutes.

- This means you won’t get disconnected and have to call again after 30 minutes is up.

The numbers look good!

- We think this will help about 50% more callers get through on their first try.

We've simplified our hold messages

  • Just one person’s voice doing the talking
  • A shorter intro message
  • Better quality audio
  • More time in between messages to chill to music
  • An automatic voice that tells you your position in the queue, but doesn’t interrupt the other messages.
  • More useful information about what you can expect at QLife
  • An optional grounding activity to support you while you wait

We've made these changes based on feedback

From service users, staff and volunteers, and our consumer advisory group - we hope we can make even more improvements in the future!Our current phone system will stay in place until the 28th, while we put the finishing touches on the new version. Stay tuned!
